Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo of Kogi State has appointed cabinet members and other key aides for his administration.
The Governor unveiled his nominations for cabinet members and key aides during his inaugural speech at the Muhammadu Buhari Civic Centre in Lokoja.
Governor Ododo stated that the nomination of the commissioners would be forwarded to the Assembly for prompt confirmation.
The nominated commissioners and other top aides were former members of Yahaya Bello, the immediate past governor’s cabinet. They are the former Secretary to the State Government (SGF), Folashade Ayoade Arike, Kingsley Fanwo, and Deedat Salami Ozigi, among others.
The Global News had reported that Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo has been sworn in as the 5th Executive Governor of Kogi State.
Alhaji Ododo was sworn in by the Kogi State Chief Judge, Justice Josiah Mejabi, at the Muhammadu Buhari Civic Centre.
