The former Deputy Speaker Ekiti State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Taiwo Olatunbosun has charged the newly elected members of the State House particularly the principal officers to put the state above every personal interests.

In a statement personally signed and issued to newsmen in Ado-Ekiti, he said: ” The interests of the state should be more paramount as you take charge of your respective offices. As you are aware, the State Governor, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji has, since his inauguration placed the state on the pedestal of progress and shared prosperity, I urge that they all give in their best to support every pillars of BAO’s administration.”

Recall the State Governor, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji inaugurated the House today at the Assembly complex in the State capital, Ado-Ekiti.

Chief Olatunbosun further expressed great optimism that the crop of principal officers of the House will yield robust legislation that would translate to visible developments in the state: “The new Speaker, Rt. Hon Aribasoye has proven himself as a dependable individual and committed political leader, championing development policy reforms and good governance, I am sure he will bring his experience also as former student leader and a trained lawyer to bear in handling all issues in the State House of Assembly. I congratulate and wish them all round success in this new task” he said.

The former lawmaker however congratulates Ekiti people for electing capable hands into the State House of Assembly. “The time is now right for Ekiti people to enjoy more dividends of democracy after the inauguration of the State Assembly. The votes you have given them will bring more prosperity to the people of the state”  Olatunbosun concluded.
