Master Ayiga Prince has emerged one-day Chairman of Ajoni Local Council Development Area of Ekiti State.
Ayiga, a student of St. Patrick’s Primary School, Oke Ayedun Ekiti, won the spelling bee competition, organized by the Ajoni LCDA Chairman, Prince Micheal Ogungbemi, thereby earning the honour to become the one-day Chairman.
He was driven in the Chairman Official car from his home to the Council Secretariat where he was welcomed by the Vice Chairman, Secretary to the Local Council and The Head Of Local Council Administration HLA.
Master Ayiga was conducted around the offices and later presided over the Executive Council meeting of the LCDA.
The One-Day Chairman also visited some completed and ongoing project sites on inspection within the LCDA.
He has been awarded with Ajoni LCDA Educational Scholarship prize to cover his tuition fees, books through out his Secondary school.
The Chairman, Prince Micheal Ogungbemi took note of Master Ayiga requests for more investment in education and human capital, promising the Government would continue to prioritise education in the LCDA.
