The Conference of Civil Societies and Center for Civil-Military Cooperation (CIMICO) has commended six government institutions for their outstanding performance as President Bola Ahmed Tinubu marks one year in office. In a statement issued by the Chairperson of the Conference of Civil Societies and Coordinator of CIMICO, Adams Otakwu, the institutions were praised for their exemplary service delivery and contributions to the country’s development.

The six institutions recognized for their exceptional performance are the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), the Defence Headquarters (DHQ), the National Pension Commission (PenCom), the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Ministry, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), and the Department of State Services (DSS). According to the statement “These institutions have demonstrated a high level of dedication, professionalism, and commitment to their respective mandates, setting a positive example for other government agencies to follow.”

The Conference of Civil Societies and CIMICO urged the recognized institutions to sustain their excellent performance, serving as a benchmark for other government institutions to strive for. The statement emphasized the importance of recognizing and encouraging outstanding achievements in the public sector, promoting a culture of excellence and accountability in governance.
