The Honourable representing Ekiti South West Constituency II, Hon. Tolulope Ige has felicitated Muslim faithful in Ekiti State and Nigeria at large over the celebration of the Eid-el-Kabir festival, with the call to celebrate with moderation.
Ige in a statement issued to newsmen on Monday by his Special Assistant on Media and Political Matters, Olaluwoye Aderopo, noted that as Muslims all over the world celebrate the festival, it is time to merry and share with the loved ones, urging Muslims in the state to ensure they also share goodies with the less privileged whilst prayers for the success of Governor Oyebanji’s led administration in Ekiti State should be priotized.
“On this day as we celebrate this Eid-el-kabir, may almighty Allah continue to guide our affairs, and may we witness more of this amazing celebration in wealth and good health. He admonish the muslims to embrace the lesson of this celebration to be of good conduct to all and sundry and advice them to celebrate with moderation.
He further urged them to be guided by the faith, perseverance and obedience demonstrated by Prophet Muhammad when he was ordered by God to sacrifice his only Son, which untimely culminated to today’s celebration.
He, however, reiterated his mandate commitment in making life more meaningful to the people through effective legislation.
