It was indeed a jubilation galore as Committee of Friends and residents of Otun-Ekiti hosted Honourable Ibrahim Kunle Olarewaju to blissful homecoming being member of 9th House of Representative whose tenure end on better note, describing him as Unique Performer who raised the Bar of good governance in the space of four years. The historical event is first of it’s kind according to the organizers, put in place to honour the illustrious son of the community.
Shortly before the reception, Oore of Otun-Ekiti, Oba Adekunle Adeayo Adeagbo hosted Olarewaju alongside his political family led by Mr Banji Boriashade aka Pa Jay, he prayed for them to be more successful in Life. The monarch thanked them for supporting Olarewaju leading to his Urbane performance and achievements recorded. “I am proud of our Son because he has done well. The good news I heard about him in the nooks and crannies of Ekiti North Federal Constituency II shows he is a lover of development. He will continue to move forward in all areas of Life, Oba Adeagbo added.
Some of the personalities who spoke at the event described the Lawmaker’s giant strides laudable.
According to Mr Awoyemi, leader of the organizers said Olarewaju’s representation, antecedents and goodwill is remarkable
“The crowd being seen here is pointing to the fact that Hon. Olarewaju has touched lives through his impactful representation. His leadership qualities by far surpass those of his contemporaries, this being the reason the people gave him this honour. He has been tested and trusted and found to be credible Public Servant.
They further indicated that the lawmaker has truly paid his dues particularly in terms of rendering selfless services to humanity, stressing that his philanthropic gestures are second to none, even as his act of carrying everyone along remains unbeatable, hence, the people’s massive support for him.
They said, “Olarewaju is happy for his enormous contributions as the people have no doubt that he would live up to their expectations even after office.
Speaking earlier, Olarewaju who was accompanied by his Wife Alhaja Serifat and family members appreciated the organizers for finding him worthy of the honour. He commended them for the value-addiction reception bestowed on him while promising the good people of Otun-Ekiti and Ekiti North Federal Constituency II at large more Empowerment Programmes.
“My love for the good people of Ido/Osi, Moba and Ilejemeje local government motivated me to perform well. Serving humanity diligently is interesting to personal gain. “I have tried my best and my people should expect more dividends of democracy as time goes by. “I will not stop associating with my people who gave me mandate being member of 9th House of Representatives, he added.
