Ifaki Muslim Youth (IMY) has congratulated Alhaji Sule Lanre Bakare on his victory at the just-concluded Ifaki Progressives Union (IPU) national election.

The group stated that Alhaji Sule’s election as President of the IPU comes as no surprise, given his long-standing reputation as a dedicated and visionary leader within the Ifaki community.

IMY disclosed this in a statement signed by its President, Mr. Kazeem Adekunle Bakare on Sunday in Ifaki-Ekiti.

The statement reads, “Alhaji Sule’s emergence as the leader of IPU is a testament to his dedication, leadership qualities, and commitment to the progress of our community.

“We are proud to acknowledge that Oga Baba has always been a shining example and a good ambassador of Islam in Ifaki. His unwavering commitment to the values of Islam has not only inspired us but has also earned him the respect and admiration of the entire community.

“His track record of selfless service and contributions to the development of Ifaki has undoubtedly paved the way for his victory at the poll.

“The Balogun Adini of Ifaki Muslim community’s past achievements serve as a strong foundation upon which we believe he will continue to build and lead the IPU to even greater heights.

“As you assume this important leadership role, we urge you to remain steadfast in your commitment to uniting all members of Ifaki for the collective development of our town.
