Alhaji Sule Lanre Bakare has been turbaned as the Balogun Adinni of Ifaki Muslim Community.

Alhaji Bakare is the Vice Chairman of Ifaki Progressives Union (IPU).

The Chairman of Ifaki Muslim Community, Alhaji Muhammad Bello, said the honour bestowed on Bakare was borne of his dedication and contributions to the development of not only the Muslim community but also Ifaki for more than 40 years.

He implored the Balogun Adinni not to relent in those things that qualified him to be recognised by the entire community.

The President of Ifaki Muslim Youth, Adekunle Bakare described him as an exemplary Muslim and a mentor to youths in the community.

In his goodwill message, the Olufaki of Ifaki-Ekiti, Oba John Adegbenro Falore (Ajigbade III) congratulated Alhaji Lanre Bakare and urged him to continue to contribute to the development of Ifaki.

Dignitaries that attended the event included Secretary to the State Government, Alhaja (Dr.) Habibat Omolara Adubiaro, Olufaki of Ifaki, Oba John Adegbenro Falore (Ajigbade III), the Vice Chancellor, Ekiti State University (EKSU), Professor Eddy Olanipekun, Permanent Secretary, Office of Establishment and Service Matter, Governor’s Office, Ado-Ekiti, Alhaji Ibrahim Titilope Ganiyu, Chairperson of the occasion, Dr. (Mrs) AbdulAleem Medinat Adeola.
