The Executive Chairman of Isokan Local Council Development Area in Ekiti State, Hon. Olumide George Fadipe has said his achievements in last one and half years will pave way for return into office.
Fadipe stated this on Tuesday in Abuja, at the inaguration reception of Hon. Davidson Akinlayo, House of Representatives member representing Ekiti North Federal Constituency II
He said: “I want to tell the whole world that Isokan LCDA under his watch has touched eight communities of the council area with numerous projects.
“It has also pursued, with renewed vigour, youths and women restiveness as well as boosted the socio-economic development of the council.
“I have transformed the educational, agricultural, economic, health, judicial and commercial sectors, as well as the electoral system among others.
“My transformation agenda has touched and improved the lives of every citizens of Isokan LCDA positively.
“My people have seen my good handwork in establishing and enabling environment, providing infrastructure facilities, tackling insecurity, prompt payment of workers’ salaries among others”.
Fadipe, therefore, called on residents and Indigenes of Ekiti State to continually support Governor Oyebanji’s led administration in Ekiti State, justifying the All Progressive Congress (APC) is the only party in the State.
According to him, APC is the only party that will bring about more dividends of democracy to the people of Isokan LCDA and Nigeria at large
He advised residents of Isokan LCDA against politics of ethnicity and religion, and to be law-abiding in the interest of peace and national development.
The chairman cautioned politicians against “do or die” politics, saying they should rather engage in violent-free campaigns to ensure the successful conduct of the forthcoming local government election in the State.
“I will contest for second term if my people find me worthy of endorsement since reward of good work is more work, he added.
