Hon. Ajibade Sunday Owolabi , the Chairman of Okemesi/Ido-Ile Local Council Development Area in Ekiti State, has donated four motorcycles to security agencies to complement the fight against crime and criminality in the area.
The global news reports that the donation by the Chairman is to strengthen the capacity of security personnel in Okemesi/Ido-Ile LCDA.
Owolabi, who spoke on Wednesday, while presenting the motorcycles to security personnel and representatives of the communities at Town Hall, Okemesi-Ekiti, said the gesture was to assist the security personnel in conducting surveillance and intelligence gathering that will facilitate the work of security agencies in the council.
He advised security agencies in the local government to synergize with each other on the task of securing the community, while community leaders should support and cooperate with security agencies.
