The Olufaki of Ifaki-Ekiti, Oba John Adegbenro Falore Ajibade III, send his heartfelt congratulations to Olowu of Owu-Kuta, HRM Oba Hammed Adekunle Oyelude Makama on his conferment of national honour of Commander of Niger (CON), the Global News reports.
This was contained in a statement signed by Oluwasegun Aina, the Special Adviser on Media to Olufaki in Ifaki-Ekiti.
Oba Adegbenro stressed that Olowu-Kuta is a source of inspiration for the younger generation, describing his giant strides in humanitarian circles and synergies for nation building Urbane giving rise to the Honour
“This is a good feat for Oba Oyelude whose impressive and excellent performance has earned him several honours. “I salute your courage for a better Nigeria while wishing you tremendous progress whilst more value-addiction feats.
The award was approved by former President Muhammadu Buhari following recommendation by the Federal Ministry of Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs in recognition of Oba Makama’s contribution to peace, unity and development in the country as well as his selfless service to humanity.
Makama is the Chairman of the Council of Owu Obas and Chiefs in Yoruba land and a very prominent member of the Osun State Council of Obas.
