Ahead of the APC governorship primaries in Ondo State, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa’s aspiration has received a massive boost in Idanre Local Government Area, as Hon. Tajudeen Adefisoye has declared support for the governor.
It is intriguing that Hon. Adefisoye, also known as Small Alhaji, an Illustrious Son of Idanre, has chosen to support the incumbent Governor, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa’s aspiration. This decision is noteworthy since the place of passion is vital to the emerging leader. Therefore, his teeming supporters must align with this decision to ensure the continuous progress of Ondo State.
Adefisoye has been a lover of Ondo State’s development over the years and promises to do even more this time around. Being the youngest member of the 9th House of Representatives is a top-notch achievement, and his political elevation is imminent. Adefisoye, a tactical politician with refined manners for youth development.
“This is our project, and we are prepared to do everything necessary to ensure that the people of Idanre will provide the necessary support to Governor Aiyedatiwa. We are ready to rally the leadership of the APC in Idanre and even persuade members of opposition parties to support Governor Aiyedatiwa.
“Concerted efforts will also be made to gain the support of all our leaders, elders, and youths in Idanre. Even our chiefs and traditional rulers in Idanre will be involved in Aiyedatiwa’s project. We will also specifically involve our artisans, market women, okada riders, and transporters in all corners of Idanre. Essentially, we want to ensure that everyone contributes to Aiyedatiwa’s continuity in office as Ondo State Governor.”
The former federal legislator also assured that support for Aiyedatiwa would be sustained ingeniously in Idanre in the coming days. He also asserted that the gospel of Aiyedatiwa would be preached convincingly with decency, civility, and humility to the good people of Idanre.
“I firmly believe that the governor should be given the necessary support to continue in office. We will do everything possible to ensure that Aiyedatiwa receives the support of the vast majority of our good people in Idanre. We hope for a situation where Governor Aiyedatiwa will seamlessly continue in office after his current tenure.”
Adefisoye, however, emphasized that his support for Aiyedatiwa was informed by the governor’s sterling leadership qualities, clear vision, and humane nature. Small Alhaji also added that he was more convinced to support Aiyedatiwa because of the governor’s achievements and style of governance since he took office as Ondo State Governor.
“As they say, the taste of the pudding is in the eating. We have witnessed what Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa has accomplished in the last month since assuming office as Ondo State Governor. We have observed his political maturity and leadership qualities. We have seen how order has been restored to governance in Ondo State in the last month. He has given deserved attention to unfinished projects in the state as well as the welfare of civil servants and retirees. A man who has achieved all this in just one month deserves to continue in office,” Adefisoye concluded.
