Veteran Nollywood filmmaker and actor, Chief Adedeji Aderemi, popularly known as Olofa Ina is dead, The Global News reports.
Olofa Ina, 73, passed away on Thursday.
The Veteran actor, also known as Baba Olowe, held the title of Sobaloju of Edeland. He made significant contributions to contemporary Yoruba theatre.
The news was confirmed by his colleague actor Saidi Balogun on Thursday night through his Instagram handle (@SaidiBalogun).
He posted Olofa Ina’s picture with a caption “Goodnight legend Chief Deji Akinremi (Olofa Ina) RIP.”
Olofa Ina, whose cause of death is unknown, died in his hometown in Ede, Osun State.
The veteran actor gained social media attention in 2021, accusing actress Iyabo Ojo and Comedienne Princess of pranking and setting up Omiyinka Olanrewaju (Baba Ijesha).
