5 Things To Know About Late Actor, Mr Ibu

The Global News reports that another popular Nollywood actor, Johnson Okafor popularly known as Mr Ibu is dead.

Mr Ibu passed away yesterday following a long-term illness.

He was aged 62.

Here are five things to know about the late Mr Ibu:

1. John Ikechukwu Okafor popularly known as Mr. Ibu was born on October 17, 1961.
2. He graduated from the Institute of Management and Technology, Enugu State.
3. The movie star came to the limelight in 2004 with the movie “Mr Ibu.” and acted in more than 300 Nollywood films.
4. The veteran ventured into music and released two singles titled “This Girl” and “Do You Know” on October 15, 2020.
5. Mr Ibu called for an end to homosexuality in Nollywood, he described it as akin to a virus in 2022.
