The Leader of Government Business of Ekiti State House of Assembly, Hon. Tolu Ige has condoled with family members and good people of Igbaraodo-Ekiti over the demise of Elder George Akosile who died days ago, describing him as Rare Gem with guilding light for everyone around him.

Hon. Ige accompanied by party leaders and members of his political party stormed Igbaraodo-Ekiti on Sunday expressed on the passage of Akosile. According to Hon. Ige: “Baba Akosile, Chairman Ekiti State APC Elders forum is a unique technocratic of high esteem, ready to help people with wise counsel.

He reminiscence on how baba endorsed him some few months before attaining Ekiti State House of Assembly seat representing Ekiti South West Constituency II. “I am honored with Baba endorsement and signature of my candidacy as the candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), prior to 2023 State House of Assembly elections, citing it as the last for elective office done by Pa Akosile.

He further explained, “Akosile is a retired Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Finance in the old Ondo State who later became the pioneer Chairman of Action Congress (AD) in Ekiti State. His Credence pave way for his appointment as Chairman of Committee on Political appointment by Governor Oyebanji for selection of credible people in his cabinet.

Coincidentally, Ige met His Royal Majesty, Oba Edward Jayeola, Arajaka of IgbaraOdo Ekiti in Akosile’s compound where he extend his condolences message to the monarch, while urging the him to take solace as the late Stateman will forever be remembered by all for his good legacies.

Appreciating Hon. Tolu Ige for his visit, the eldest son of the deceased Mr Kolade Akosile expressed gratitude to the Lawmaker on behalf of the family for his show love and concern for Igbara-Odo as a community and Ekiti South West Constituency 2 at large.
