On Tuesday, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State took action against commercial motorcycle riders, commonly known as “Okada,” operating against traffic on the Lagos-Badagry Expressway.
A video circulating on social media captured the Governor stopping his convoy and personally confronting the riders on the Lagos-Badagry Expressway.
Upon seeing the Governor, the Okada riders hastily dispersed, with some abandoning their motorcycles and passengers. However, five riders were apprehended by Sanwo-Olu’s team.

“Hey madam, you are a graduate and you allowed them to take you on a one-way… if you fall and you die, they will say the government killed you. What a shame,” Sanwo-Olu said in another video shared by his media aide Wale Ajetunmobi.
